LAILA KHORASANI

Laila is a fourth year Neuroscience major at UCLA. She became interested in OTP's mission after the devastating California fire hit so close to home. After reading about how planting trees could benefit recently damaged ecosystems, she knew she wanted to help bring this to the UCLA community! She is a neuroscience student and wants to work at the intersection between science and medicine.

CARISSA REULBACH

Carissa is a fourth year Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution major at UCLA. She joined OTP because she has always had an intense love for the natural world and the animals that inhabit it. Carissa is a pre-veterinary student and when she's not working at an animal hospital or conducting research on birds, she can be found hiking, running, or rock climbing.

RAMYA NATARAJAN

Ramya is a fourth year Human Biology and Society major at UCLA. She joined OTP because she believes the climate crisis is one of the most pressing issues of our generation. "There are so many natural wonders of the world I want to see, and I can't do that if they disappear. We need to take action to protect our planet now." When she's not (quite literally) hugging trees, you can find her with a book or on a trail.
